Augusta Commercial Water Damage Drying

This Augusta complex had a walkway with commercial water damage. As shown in the Before Photo, the technicians removed the baseboards as water migrated behind them. Technicians use weighted extractor heads as a common method to remove the maximum amount of water from the carpet. They then set up air movers and dehumidifiers to reduce the remaining moisture quickly. Although the sheetrock shows slight warping, there was not enough damage from the water intrusion that it required removal. The After Photo shows the dried carpet in the walkway and the previously water-affected bottom area of the sheetrock ready for final repairs and reinstallation of the baseboards to make the water mitigation efforts complete.
