Storm Damage to Vacant Home Gets Fast Turnaround
This home in Hubert had extensive storm damage and standing water on the floor that wicked into the sheetrock. The water entered around the front door foyer area of the home through the ceiling and SERVPRO technicians performed necessary controlled demolition actions such as flood cuts on the walls cutting above the water line to open up the walls for drying. The ceiling also required removal in places as the sheetrock was too damaged by water. Ther After Photo shows the property after flood cuts and during the drying process where the technicians deployed multiple air movers in tandem with dehumidification equipment to quickly dry the property so reconstruction can happen.
